I have been toying with the idea of starting my own blog for a while, just never got around to it. I am finally taking the plunge and it’s not so bad! As with all things, it all start with taking the first step. I hope to use this blog as my outlet to express myself, to share with others and connect with like minded individuals. In recent months, I have mustered the courage to share my work on facebook art groups. It was scary at first but folks on these groups have been so encouraging and welcoming, it has now become addictive. The kind and encouraging comments keep me going. Keeps my creative fire burning. Helps me feel connected. It is soooooo good for the soul…. I want to give back by sharing my journey, process and progress. This is also inspired by the folks on the facebook groups who have asked me about my techniques and asked me to share more details via blog.. so here goes. I have been asked to make YouTube videos as well but I don’t think I am there yet. Too much pressure… honestly, I am still surprised at what I can make…. maybe one day when I am confident enough….
