Day 87/100 #100dayproject single color series #3. Light blue/teal. Another of my favorite color. Makes me think of the blue waters of Maldives, Mauritius, Caribbean… one can dream.

Day 85/100 #100dayproject I love blue. Especially dark blue or navy blue. Wanted to experiment with painting something with just blue. A little different from my usual style. Good to try something different to get back into painting. What do you think? Maybe I can do a series of single color paintings and see how that goes….🤔

Day 86/100 #100dayproject after my blue painting, I decided to continue the single color palette painting. This time another of my favorite color, crimson lake. I am enjoying this challenge of using only one color and seeing how the color affects the mood of the painting. What do you think should be the next color?

Day 84/100 #100dayproject first painting after 3 week break. Definitely feel rusty and out of practice. But glad I finally picked up my paint brush. And 16 more to go to 100!!!!

Day 83/100 #100dayproject first day back after a 3 week break. For some reason I did not pick up a pencil or paintbrush. Instead I chose to embroider. Paint with threads. One if my key words for2020. Hopefully tomorrow I will start painting again. Just need this jet lag to go away!!!!

Day 82/100 #100dayproject painted this originally intended to be 2019 holiday card. Well, she wasn’t in such a festive mood after all🤣 switched it to this instead.

Day 53/100 #100dayproject on a roll. Still playing with inky background and then letting it speak to me. Combining my love for drawing and playing with watercolor ink. In this case, I made a blotchy red ink patch and decided to stencil half a wing. And that led to this angel. Fly away angel…

Day 52/100 #100dayproject I am back to my art table. On a roll now. Again using a scrap piece of paper with some ink splotches on it. Decided to practice sketching with just ink pen. This is one of my favorites. Fun drawing the flowers. Can’t wait to do more!
